WHAT WE DID
Gumtree was fading from peoples vocabulary as a business, yet brand recall was still strong. Players like Facebook Marketplace had effectively cut Gumtree’s grass and in the consumers eyes, Gumtree was now somewhat obsolete. In reality Gumtree’s quality and range of products was far superior to those on FB Marketplace.
Our aim was to transform Gumtree into a smart place to go shopping… before you browse your regulars, and to consider Gumtree for quality items like cars, homes, boats, even pets.
A super-simple national OOH and digital campaign giving Australians a fresh new way to think of Gumtree and launching a new ‘Shop Gumtree’ creative platform.
